The project reached the marketing team, and I was assigned to curate the art direction and design. From the brief I received from the Marketing Director, I learned the packaging had to be capable of grouping the products contained together under a common purpose, to be used as a tool to motivate and engage consumers towards purchasing.

But sometimes the packaging needs some more help than a logo surrounded by the correct color scheme and a catchy line. In busy sports shops, self-service is often the quickest solution for the grab and go client category. As a result, more often than not, the packaging needs to close the sale on the brand’s behalf.

COLOR PALETTE
Pink and Cyan instead are distinctives colors Premax is using to help recognize the Anti Friction Cream for mens and womens.
We used the same product to differentiate the bundle for mens and womens, so it was easy enough to use the same colour system.

TYPOGRAPHY
For the front and all the sides of the box, I chose a condensed sans serif typeface because with the correct sizing it could be seen from a long distance while having that sort of attractive modern and sportive look. For the rear, where all descriptions are placed, my choice went for a relaxed sans serif typeface, more readable even at a very small size.
